too often, we retreat from seeking. we are meant to seek. to knock violently and loudly.
we restrain. perhaps we are looking for a better deal. we hold out. perhaps we do not understand the value of what is on offer.
i believe that the full power of God's love, God's justice, God's pleasure, God's fury, is a gift which we realize only after a long, difficult, intentional and intensive search. like the quests of old, it should take all we have and all we are.
